Finding jobs

Where roles come from, the criteria you set, and why some listings never reach you.

Roles reach you from four sources: keyword searches, job alerts in a connected mailbox, URLs you paste in, and the careers boards of companies you follow on the Watchlist. Whatever the source, every role is treated the same way afterwards: de-duplicated, checked against your UK location, salary floor and commute, then scored against your CV. Search titles are the most load-bearing setting, because with none set nothing is searched and nothing is found. These articles cover setting your search titles, salary floor, home postcode and maximum commute, and reading the fit scores that come back. For the same pipeline in more detail, see How it works.
